Cabinet Designer
Position Summary:
This role will work to identify the SOW of cabinet opportunities, create cabinet takeoffs and estimates, optimize and leverage MFSโ€™s cabinet product offerings, and provide training and assistance to sales reps.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design functional kitchen and bathroom while leveraging MFSโ€™ cabinet offering and inventory for multi-family and single family properties
  • Identify opportunities and develop improvements for critical product development processes for the cabinet program
  • Ability to take projects from blueprint to finished design within 48 hours.
  • Create estimates and sales orders
  • Provide detailed product information to customers
  • Support product platform strategy and managing the existing product line up
  • Identify opportunities and develop improvements for critical product development processes
  • Be the voice of the end user, supporting product concept and specification development
  • Other tasks as requested
Required Education amp; Skills:
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree preferred but not required
  • Skilled in 20/20 design
  • Sales experience is a plus.
  • 1-3 yearsโ€™ experience in kitchen/bathroom design
  • 1-3 yearsโ€™ experience in construction project estimating
  • Research, problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Proven experience using oral and written communication skills to effectively resolve problems
