The Role

Blue Owl is seeking an Analyst to join the Consultant Relations Group within the Institutional Business Development Team. This role is primarily accountable for supporting the firm's growing institutional client franchise by managing relationships with institutional consultants and assisting in various sales and administrative tasks. This position provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to multiple facets of Blue Owl's business and grow alongside an innovative, rapidly expanding alternatives asset management platform.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior relationship managers and other team members to support the Consultant Relations team in achieving their day-to-day goals of servicing institutional consultants
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of presentations, data requests, and other sales materials to institutional consultants
  • Conduct research and gather data to support sales objectives, providing insights and recommendations based on findings
  • Manage internal administrative tasks and projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Develop and maintain reporting for fund commitments for both existing and prospective clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry
  • Prior experience in institutional asset management preferred. Consultant relations experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a given time
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), and Salesforce

It is expected that the base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $85,000 to $100,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
