 Technical/Functional Skills / MUST HAVE SKILLS :

CompTIA Network+ certification having excellent understanding of Networking topologies

CompTIA Security+ certification having excellent understanding of Network and Application security

Hands-on experience working with Sourcefire IPS/IDS

Hands-on experience with Bluecoat Proxy, Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Antivirus products

Excellent understanding of TCP/IP Networking and network troubleshooting

 Preferred Skills: 

Understanding of Big-IP F5 GTM/LTM devices

Understanding of Checkpoint and Cisco ASA Firewalls

Understanding of Infoblox DNS

Understanding of various Network discovery tools (Fluke), Traffic Management tools (Netflow/Sflow) like GigaMon. 


 Roles & Responsibilities: 

  Manage Network & Application security devices

Analyze the events and logs originating from the security monitoring devices/applications

Detect and resolve security issues and prepare remediation plan
