Are you ready to make your life and others better? There is no better gift you can give to others than your time! If you find joy in serving others, this job is for you!
We are seeking caring and compassionate Hospice Volunteers to provide patient companionship and/or office support services. Not every volunteer position looks the same! We would love to showcase any talents, skills or expertise you may have. Provide a personal touch and make a real difference in someone's life.
Hours can be used as work study, internship, or clinical hours towards a degree!
Bluebird Health is an Idaho-based home health and hospice company focused on providing our patients, employees, and community partner's top care. We truly find joy through service.
Summary:
Volunteer and give in your own way, on your own time. Share a story, skill, musical instrument, baking, provide office support and more. The sky is the limit! Share your gifts and provide comfort and compassion to Hospice patients.

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Must be 18+ years of age

Licenses/Certification:
  • None required

Experience:
  • Hospice care experience a plus, but not required

Responsibilities:
  • Perform volunteer services under the direction of the Volunteer Coordinator.
  • Follow the Volunteer Plan of Care, per agency policy
  • Maintain open communication and reports regularly to the Volunteer Coordinator
