CARPENTER

RM Built is a Seattle-based General Contractor that values the delivery of high quality results using effective collaboration and communication. We specialize in residential remodels as well as commercial renovations and tenant improvements. We are currently seeking a skilled, dependable carpenter to join our team.

Job Description

The carpenter is responsible for a full range of advanced finish and rough carpentry work, including the creation and installation of custom built products, working with all standard building materials and tools of the trade as well as having the ability to get creative. Other responsibilities include trouble-shooting and foreseeing challenges that would impede work and schedules. Communicating well and assisting team members and craftworkers as needed.

Qualifications

  • Inherently self-motivated and organized/efficient worker.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with owners, sub contractors' and project managers.
  • Able to communicate professionally and effectively with coworkers and customers.
  • Capable of handling and/or managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of building construction and carpentry work.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in residential remodeling or commercial carpentry.
  • Must reside in the Greater Seattle Metropolitan area.
  • Must have own basic tools. Specialty items to be provided by company.
  • Must have reliable commuting vehicle with ability to carry basic hand tools.
  • Must have access to a phone capable of tracking hours through cloud based project management software.
  • Working knowledge of computers and basic familiarity with industry specific software programs (i.e. Bluebeam, PM Software etc.)
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S
  • Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
