We create a nurturing environment where patients feel valued and understood, and our multidisciplinary team collaborates to ensure holistic care. By integrating the latest research findings into our practice, we aim to enhance therapeutic outcomes and foster patient resilience.

Work Environment

Our work setting is remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from a comfortable and productive environment. While we operate primarily online, our therapists have access to an outpatient office for in-person consultations and group therapy sessions as needed. You will work Monday through Friday, during standard business hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the diverse scheduling needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to ascertain patients' psychological needs, crafting individualized treatment plans that align with best practices.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide evidence-based interventions for individuals, couples, and families.
  • Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community engagement and address common mental health issues.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Respond to mental health crises with appropriate intervention strategies, ensuring immediate support for patients in need.
  • Educate patients on their mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources available in the community to empower them towards recovery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards, utilizing Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems efficiently.
  • Actively participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development initiatives to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and research in the mental health field, applying new insights to therapy practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse group of clients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, crisis situations, and systemic issues related to family and community. Our clientele includes various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and socio-economic statuses, making cultural competence and sensitivity essential in your approach.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders and a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
  • Experience in conducting thorough mental health assessments and developing actionable treatment plans tailored to diverse patient needs.
  • Proven background in providing both individual and group therapy, comfortably engaging with various populations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish trust and rapport with patients and team members alike.
  • Strong ethical judgment and professional boundaries in clinical interactions.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records and relevant computer applications to maintain efficient workflows.
  • Capability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared goals in patient care.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a remote work setting or telehealth services is a plus.
  • Familiarity with community mental health resources and referral networks is advantageous.
  • Experience in working collaboratively on interdisciplinary teams in a clinical environment is desired.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health insurance, covering medical, dental, and vision expenses.
  • A robust retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) along with observed holidays.
  • Professional liability insurance coverage for peace of mind while practicing.
  • Ongoing support for education and professional development, ensuring you stay at the forefront of your field.
