Blue Ribbon Products Co. would not be where we are today without the talent of our incredible sales, delivery and merchandising teams and we are looking for the next superstar to join the family. We are looking for upbeat, positive people who are money-motivated and want a fun, competitive work environment. You will work as part of our Chicago Suburban merchandising team supporting an award winning sales team. Merchandisers will fill customer shelves, build displays hang paper and permanent signs in customer locations. Hard work, professionalism and communication skills are a must!

Part Time and Full Time Available. We have openings that might be a great fit for an individual retired from a prior career and is looking to stay busy and healthy.

What You Will Love Doing:

  • Support sales team in servicing retail customers with merchandising activities.
  • Enhance the marketability of our products through shelf management, display position, stocking shelves, placing and hanging marketing materials.
  • Identify and communicate customer problems and opportunities
  • Establishes and maintains a rapport with key individuals in customer locations.
  • Obtain feedback from accounts on effectiveness of individual rotation procedures.
  • Maintains a timely and accurate call schedule.
  • Present and punctual for mandatory sales meetings and brand kick-offs.

Requirements

  • Physically demanding job. Carrying and lifting 45-65 pounds on a repetitive basis
  • Frequent driving and exiting/entering vehicle to service assigned territory
  • Overhead reaching to perform various duties
  • Standing and walking for extended periods of time to perform various duties
  • Squatting or bending to perform various duties
  • 18 years or older to apply, prefer HS Diploma or equivalent
  • High levels of professionalism and good communication skills
  • Complete job responsibilities in an accurate, proficient and timely manner
  • Interact positively with coworkers and customers
  • Must be able to work occasional weekends
  • Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License
  • Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
