Job description

IT Architecture (State Street Bank and Trust Company; North Quincy, Massachusetts): Will support multiple programs in State Street. Achieves organization goals by defining, integrating and upgrading a comprehensive IT architecture to support various applications. Specific duties include: envision, architect, and design end-to-end solutions for various programs that may span across front, middle, and back office financial systems; engage as a technology leader for building and maintain a high-level technical architecture and business credibility with business users, system developers, and operations staff; drive key technology and business transformation initiatives, providing architectural guidance and oversight of development teams across the Bank; improve architecture by tracking emerging technologies, evaluating applicability to business and operational goals; drive organizational goals towards digital transformation, tech modernization, and migrating existing platforms to the cloud; architect and deliver on Process and Workflow Orchestration Platforms using products such as Camunda, Blue Prism, UiPath, and Alteryx that enables State Street to serve its customers; plan and execute software and hardware upgrades working with infrastructure support teams; and responsible for ensuring that the business's performance, security, user experience, reliability, availability, and all other functional and non-functional requirements are met. Hybrid remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to company policy.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field and 10 years of experience in application and platform architecture in a large financial institution. Alternatively, employer will accept master's degree or its equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field and 7 years of experience in application and platform architecture in a large financial institution.
Must have: Blue Prism Installation Certification; Blue Prism Technical Architect Certification; proven advanced Java and J2EE development experience; hands-on experience on Microservices development using Java Spring; hands-on Experience in Cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) Architecture; hands-on Experience in Azure, AWS S3, AKS, VMs; solid knowledge of continuous integration and delivery practices using tools such as Git, Jenkins, Harness, Docker, Azure DevOps; demonstrated comprehensive understanding of Camunda V7 and V8, BPMN 2.0, DMN; solid presentation and whiteboarding skills; demonstrated ability to lead architecture discussions in front of business leaders and technically strong colleagues; demonstrated conflict resolution techniques and building consensus with business, technology, and management teams across multiple organizational structures; demonstrated understanding of authentication and authorization services, including SAML, LDAP, ADS, ADFS, and back-end API services that connects various messaging tools, cloud and other platforms; demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills; demonstrated experience integrating heterogeneous custom and enterprise class products tools as well as Database Appliances and Reporting/Business Analytics; demonstrated experience with application security, scalability, performance, service-oriented integration, working with databases, including competency in structured and unstructured data sources, continuous integration, and automated testing; and demonstrated experience in various software development approaches from Waterfall to Agile, including test-driven development. Salary Range:

$146,806 - $230,000 Annual
