Position: Banquet Server โ€“ Full Time

Reports To: Banquets Manager


Schedule & Details
  • Status: Full Time
  • Compensation: $12/hour + tips
  • Availability: Weekends, mornings, and holidays required.

About the Role

As a Banquet Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service at events, meetings, and special functions. This position is ideal for someone with prior serving experience who thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Banquet Servers are responsible for setting up event spaces, serving guests efficiently, and ensuring a high level of service throughout each function.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to understand menu details, timelines, and event setup
  • Set up banquet spaces, including tables, place settings, buffets, and beverage stations
  • Assist with event preparation, including condiments, beverages, and service areas
  • Serve food and beverages in a professional, efficient manner
  • Check food quality and presentation before serving
  • Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff regarding timing and guest needs
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests
  • Clear and reset tables throughout service
  • Load and transport dirty dishes and assist with breakdown of event space
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet and service areas
  • Assist with post-event cleanup, including sweeping, mopping, and resetting spaces
  • Adapt to different roles as needed to support successful event execution
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Previous serving experience strongly preferred (banquet, restaurant, or event service)
  • Ability to provide professional, polished guest service
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
