PositionSummary

The Retail Security Supervisor supports retail operations by serving in a dual-function role that combines reception and security responsibilities within the licensed retail facility. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, patients, and visitors; assessing and de-escalating situations; responding to workplace injuries and security incidents; and supporting regulatory compliance within retail operations.

  2. Serveastheprimaryreceptionpointforcustomers,patients,andvisitors,includinggreetingindividuals,answeringphones,andprovidingauthorizedinformationinaprofessionalmanner.
  3. Conductcustomerintakeproceduresbyverifyingagethroughscanningvalididentificationanddirectingcustomersthroughinitialpurchasingsteps.
  4. Issue,document,andmanagevisitorbadgesandensurevisitorsareproperlyescortedwhileonfacilitypremises.
  5. Enforcefacilityaccessrules,includingdenyingentryorrequestingindividualsleavethepremiseswhenrequiredbypolicy.
  6. Monitorsurveillancesystemsandsecurityequipmenttoidentifysuspiciousactivityandrespondtoregulatoryrequestsasrequired.
  7. Performroutineandperiodicchecksofelectronicsecuritysystems,includingalarms,cameras,andaccesscontrolsystems,toensureproperoperation.
