Dollar Tree is a leading discount variety retailer operating thousands of stores throughout the United States and Canada. The company offers customers a wide selection of household essentials, food and beverages, health and beauty products, seasonal merchandise, and other everyday items at value-oriented prices. Dollar Tree is committed to providing a convenient shopping experience while maintaining excellent customer service and efficient store operations.

Position Overview

The Cashier is responsible for providing outstanding customer service while accurately processing sales transactions. This role helps create a positive shopping experience by greeting customers, operating the register efficiently, answering customer questions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. Successful candidates will be dependable, customer-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Accurately operate the cash register and process sales transactions
  • Handle cash, credit card, and debit card payments and provide correct change and receipts
