Position: Spanish Teacher

Bloomfield School District is looking for an experienced Spanish teacher to work cooperatively with Bloomfield Middle and High School staff and administration.


Duties will include:

  • Develop dynamic lesson plans that integrate Spanish culture, foster an appreciation for traditions, and enhance language proficiency. Focus on cultivating students' skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish.
  • Creating and sustaining a classroom atmosphere that promotes learning while offering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Encourage active participation in class discussions and interactive activities to enhance language practice.
  • Regularly assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and grade assignments, exams, and projects.


Job Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Indiana teaching license with a Spanish endorsement.
  • Dual credit credentialing is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrate fluent proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish.
  • Have a deep knowledge and understanding of the Spanish language and Hispanic culture.
  • Display outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate a positive classroom environment.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology platforms, such as Google Suite, to enrich language instruction.
