Bloomberg LP has built a significant media business spanning television, digital, magazine, radio and live event platforms across the globe. In the midst of a historic time in the media industry, Bloomberg Media is setting out to become the indispensable source of information for the world's most influential business leaders.
Bloomberg has a rare opportunity for a motivated, hardworking Part-Time Weekend Producer to join our team on 'Bloomberg This Weekend.' The ideal candidate for this role will have experience line producing, booking guests, producing segments, creating graphics, and collaborating across platforms. They will also have a working knowledge of broadcast operations, including control room experience, preparing visual elements for broadcast, and directing anchors. This weekend show airs live on both video and audio platforms, requiring a unique skillset that is adaptable and able to work across a variety of mediums. Primary responsibilities include booking guests and pre-production of segments, including questions and video and graphic element . This role consists of 20 working hours per week across Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The ideal candidate for this role will have strong editorial experience, work efficiently and effectively to execute new ideas and use creative production techniques to produce compelling content.
We'll trust you to:
- Identify and book high-profile guests
- Create and edit broadcast scripts
- Write accurate, compelling headlines under tight deadlines
- Communicate and coordinate with reporters across the newsroom
- Direct show anchors, audio engineers, video ops and producers from the control room
- Build and maintain rundowns with related video and graphic elements
- Create a variety of graphics, including charts, headshots and maps
- Be creative; visualize new ideas and implement them
You'll need to have:
- Exceptional editorial and production skills
- Knowledge of TV and radio control room operations
- Experience working with high-profile talent and guests
- Ability to write accurate news copy and headlines quickly
- Proficiency with newsroom software systems such as ENPS, and agility with Windows
- Availability to work weekends
- Ability to adjust working schedule as business needs require

Salary Range = 50 - 60 USD Hourly
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
