Job description

Job Summary:
Activision Blizzard is a leading worldwide developer and publisher of interactive entertainment. The Submissions Technician will manage the setup, submission, and release of titles across first-party platforms, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of content while collaborating with various internal and external teams.
Responsibilities:
• Set up products within first-party backend systems to support development, testing, and release readiness
• Configure platform services, bundled products, pre-orders, and special incentive offers
• Track and update product setups as scope, functionality, or timelines evolve
• Coordinate with first parties and Production to establish submission and release schedules
• Partner with Marketing to manage product descriptions, artwork, and promotional timing
• Submit code and required materials to first parties for review and approval
• Act as a liaison between first-party partners and internal teams to communicate status, issues, and timelines
• Verify, upload, and manage marketing assets for first-party storefronts
• Configure pricing, discounts, sale dates, and regional release timing
• Provide submission and platform information to Production and QA teams
• Support QA by clarifying backend setup versus core code issues
• Research first-party backend systems and workflows to support development needs
• Collaborate with development and first-party teams to validate planned features or identify viable alternatives
• Contribute to special projects, training documentation, and process improvements as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
• 1+ years of experience in entertainment software or a related industry
• Experience working in a role requiring frequent coordination with multiple teams
• Strong working knowledge of major console platforms and related services
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, OneNote, Excel)
• Strong understanding of online services, communications, and internet technologies
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in high-pressure environments
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
• Experience with technical requirements testing
• Previous experience supporting submissions for Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo platforms
• Familiarity with first-party backend web portals and submission workflows
• Self-motivated learner with a strong desire to grow in the interactive gaming industry
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support new team members
