Job description

Night Shift
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Ensures daily orders are fulfilled accurately, and the department is staffed appropriately for production needs.
  • Follows and enforces all SOPs and Good Production Practices (GPPs) specific to Black Label operations.
  • Monitors product quality, packaging specifications, and labeling accuracy; identifies defects and implements corrective actions.
  • Ensures compliance with food‑safety standards, including identifying and correcting deviations related to sanitation, handling, and product flow.
  • Drives performance toward key operational metrics such as BMPH, Cost/lb., PPMH, and A‑Grade %.
  • Completes HR and Safety responsibilities, including Kronos and Oracle HCM time‑off approvals, safety training, and certification requirements.
  • Collaborates with QA, Maintenance, and Production teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth, efficient operations.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in lieu of a degree; poultry or food‑manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles and experience applying them in a production environment.
  • Understanding of USDA regulations, sanitation requirements, and pre‑operations guidelines.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑paced production setting.
