Senior Architect

BL Companies growing and looking for a Senior Architect. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while mentoring the next generation of architects in a supportive and collaborative environment.

This role requires strong project management, attention to detail, and the ability to guide project teams through all technical phases of design and documentation. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, collaborative mindset and a commitment to mentoring junior staff.

The Senior Architect will work in close partnership with Senior Project Managers and other disciplines to deliver exceptional architectural services for our clients. This individual will take a leadership role in managing the technical aspects of design and documentation across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the technical design and production process from concept through construction.

  • Coordinate and oversee project teams to deliver design solutions that meet client specifications, with a strong emphasis on detailing and constructability.

  • Serve as the technical authority and primary resource for project teams and clients.

  • Ensure quality assurance and control of construction documents, focusing on detail accuracy and buildability.

  • Mentor and support the growth of junior staff through hands-on guidance and technical training.

  • Contribute to a collaborative project environment and uphold BL Companies' values of accountability, proactivity, and integrity.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in architectural production for commercial, retail, or industrial projects.

  • Professional registration (RA) strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in Revit and experience with construction documentation required.

  • Experience with construction administration is a plus.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
