Bison Counseling Center Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Chandler, Arizona. • Build positive and trusting relationships with patients, creating a safe space for open discussion and healing.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose a wide range of mental health disorders, tailoring treatment plans to meet each patient's unique needs.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, or family systems therapy.
• Regularly meet with clients to monitor progress, providing ongoing support and adjusting treatment plans as needed based on evolving circumstances.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care; this may include referring clients to other specialists, coordinating care, and participating in case consultations.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient records, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to track treatments and progress.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Bison Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse patient population ranging from adolescents to adults. Clients may present with a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and family dynamics. • Active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is mandatory.
• Proficiency in therapeutic techniques and a demonstrated ability to conduct effective therapy sessions, both individually and in groups.
• Strong organizational skills and time-management abilities, essential for maintaining effective workload management and ensuring timely follow-ups with clients.

• Prior experience in a clinical setting providing therapy to individuals or families is valuable.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including trauma-informed care and solution-focused approaches.
• Experience in utilizing EHR systems for documentation and client management is a plus.
