The Delicatessen by Chef Joey is seeking an experiencedbarista to lead the bar team, oversee training, ensure cleanliness and coffeeproduction standards, and consistently deliver an exceptional coffeeexperience.
Responsibilities and Duties
Greetcustomers, present bakery and drink menus, answer questions and offerrecommendations
Take orders whilepaying attention to details
Prepare barista stylebeverages following recipes
Serve beverages withaesthetically pleasing presentation
Maintain a clean andtidy work area, including coffee and drink making equipment & comply withsafety regulations
Act as part of the training team andensure that baristas have all the knowledge and skills needed to succeed
Requirements
Atleast 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have at least 1 year of experience as a barista, as well as a Title IV certificate
Positive attitude withoutgoing and friendly personality
Cashier experience andbasic math skills needed
Excellent communicationskills
Knowledge of sanitationregulations and a current food handler card
Must be available towork evenings, nights, and weekends
Is professional andpunctual
