Physical Therapist 

Pay rate: $70.00 per hour.

Sign-on bonus: $1,500.

Location: 445 Winn Way, PO. Box 987, Decatur, GA 30031.

Schedule: Monday-Friday(flexible), 24-40 hours per week (Based on candidate availability).

Duties

  • Under general supervision, evaluates and treats children birth to three years old to maximize their independent physical functioning. Works with adaptive equipment to maintain or improve a client's positioning and/or functional abilities. Participates in the Babies Can't Wait primary coaching service delivery model and maintains appropriate program documentation.
  • Attend the initial individualized Family Service Plans, and a part of the interdisciplinary team that meets the teams in families' homes, in the office or via WebEx.

Minimum qualifications: Doctorate or professional degree in physical therapy AND current or eligible for Georgia licensure in area of assignment.

Preferred qualifications: In addition to the minimum qualifications, preference will be given to applicants with two (2) years recent experience as a Physical Therapist and experience working with special needs children age 0-3 years.

Note: Employment with the DeKalb County Board of Health is not complete or official until applicants meet all pre-employment requirements. If this position requires a college degree and you are selected for an interview, you will be required to submit official transcripts to the Human Resources Department prior to any official offer of employment.

Fingerprint Criminal Records Investigation is required.
