We specialize in bird control for some of the largest and most prestigious buildings, transportation hubs, and institutions in New York City. If you want to be part of a team that works on iconic locations, this position is for you.

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Bird Control Technician to join our team. Ideal candidates will have a mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with their hands, and possess construction or installation experience. You will work with a team to install bird control systems and ensure that our commercial clients are receiving top-notch service.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain bird control systems on various commercial properties
  • Work with a variety of tools and materials, performing hands-on construction and installation tasks
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to company standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions and on high rooftops or elevated surfaces
  • MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO JOB SITES WITHIN ANY OF THE 5 BOROUGHS. COMPANY VEHICLES ARE PROVIDED BASED ON AVAILABILITY.

Requirements:

  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to work with your hands (construction experience is a plus)
  • Comfortable working at heights, includingclimbing ladders and working on rooftops
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. and climb a 40-foot ladder
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and a strong team player
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work effectively with others

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid NYS Driverโ€™s License (Required)
  • OSHA 30-hour Certification (REQUIRED)
  • Aerial Boom Certification (Training provided)
