Pelsis develops and markets leading equipment and product brands for the commercial and retail pest control market across the globe. Our portfolio includes B&G Equipment, Brandenburg, Bird-B-Gone, Synergetic, Pest-Stop, Insect-O-Cutor, Network, , Green Protect, Edialux Home-Pet-Plant Protection, Edialux Professional, , Agrisense, Silvandersson, Luxan, Denka, and P+L Systems Washroom.


SUMMARY:

The Regional Account Manager โ€“ Bird B Gone supports and drives day-to-day sales and marketing activities across the Bird B Gone and Pelsis brands within an assigned U.S. territory. This role is responsible for revenue growth and new customer acquisition through direct selling, prospecting, account development, and execution of the Pelsis commercial strategy. Working closely with Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Marketing teams, the Regional Account Manager manages territory development, conducts product demonstrations and training, maintains strong customer relationships, and represents the company at customer sites, exhibitions, and business events. The position requires strong organizational, sales, and customer-facing skills, along with the ability to independently manage priorities while collaborating across functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Bird B Gone products, applications, installation methods, and customer use cases.
  • Identify, prospect, and close new Pest Control Operator accounts within the assigned territory to drive sales growth and market penetration.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor sales people, pest control operators, contractors, architects, facility managers, and end users.
  • Generate new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, networking, relationship development, and territory planning initiatives.
  • Own and deliver assigned territory revenue goals and sales objectives.
  • Build, maintain, and execute a qualified sales pipeline (maintained in CRM) sufficient to consistently achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets.
  • Conduct customer site visits, product demonstrations, presentations, and technical training sessions.
  • Support and execute new product launches and promotional initiatives within the territory.
  • Attend and represent Bird B Gone at regional and national trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and industry events.
  • Produce weekly and monthly sales activity reports, pipeline updates, territory plans, and forecast reporting.
  • Analyze territory performance, sales trends, and customer activity to identify growth opportunities and improve sales execution.
  • Support Marketing with research on competitor and market information to support strategic decisions and territory planning.
  • Support national and strategic account initiatives by coordinating field execution, account penetration, and opportunity coverage within the assigned territory. Work cross-functionally with internal colleagues including Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Marketing to support customer needs and execution of the sales plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of B2B field sales experience with demonstrated success in new customer acquisition and territory growth. Experience in bird control, pest control, or related industries preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, territory management, and/or account management.
  • Ability to build customer relationships and consistently meet performance goals.
  • Strong presentation, training, and communication skills, including comfort speaking to large groups.
  • Ability to interpret sales results and business metrics to guide territory decisions.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory and occasionally for national meetings and events.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle safely.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Frequent travel within the assigned territory, including customer visits, trade shows, exhibitions, and company meetings.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer for reporting, planning, and customer communications.
  • Frequent use of hands/fingers for typing and operating standard office equipment and mobile devices.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during customer visits, installations, and events.
  • Occasional lifting of product samples, displays, or materials up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining customer responsiveness and meeting deadlines.
