Job description

This is a temporary position.

Marriott International is seeking a FLEX Manager, BirchStreet Helpdesk to join our Procurement Operations team. Procurement Operations is responsible for leading core functions such as governance, vendor support, technology, reporting, and management of revenues and receivables.

The FLEX Manager provides support for BirchStreet operations, resolving user issues, supporting hotel onboarding, and managing escalations effectively. The FLEX Manager is embedded in help desk workflows, receiving tickets to address questions and issues and is expected to address them within stated SLAs.  The role at times may include supporting regions outside of the US 

Required Experiences 

  • Experience working in hospitality or in a procurement function of an organization
  • Experience with using or supporting Procure-to-Pay platforms (BirchStreet preferred)  
  • Customer service experience supporting technology systems or large enterprise programs 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide high quality and professional technical support while onboarding properties to the new system  
  • Serve as the key point of contact for properties in resolving day-to-day user issues
  • Create and oversee a system to track and manage all incoming helpdesk tickets and escalations 
  • Create job-aids and other self-guided materials for end-users that address the most common helpdesk inquiries
