We are looking for dedicated team members who are looking for a rewarding career in Assisted Living.

We are seeking a dynamic Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing community activity programs that appropriately engage residents.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Organizes, communicates, and facilitates move-in day experience for new residents and families as well as monitors and encourages resident transition into community lifestyle
  • Actively identifies resident’s interests and preferences to design engaging programming
  • Actively seeks feedback on ways to improve the resident experience; including facilitating the resident satisfaction survey process
  • Ensures the Resident Council meets monthly, minutes are taken and posted; as well as attend upon invitation
  • Ensures aesthetics of all life enrichment community areas are inviting, safe and appropriate for residents and families
  • Plans, creates and executes a monthly calendar that infuses core values and incorporates the dimensions of wellness and community calendar event standards
  • Works closely with sales and marketing to plan amp; promote prospect experiences at the community
  • Creates monthly newsletter promoting activities and distribute to residents and families
  • Contributes to the community Facebook page through uploading posts
  • Orders, secures, and maintains supplies for activities
  • Provides input into the life enrichment budget, implements and controls the expenses, and submits monthly expense report
  • Manages and oversees the General Store per policy
  • Facilitates community van transportation for residents to appointments and events
What we’re looking for:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) or more years of experience working with seniors
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and proof of automobile insurance
  • NCCAP (Activities Professional) certification required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with others for a common goal
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to adapt schedule to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours, as needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and web proficiency
