Project Manager – SW Florida

General Contractor · On-site · Full-time

Base Compensation: $90k-$130k annually - depending on experience

Our client is a nationally recognized general contractor with over six decades of project delivery experience and an international footprint. They are seeking a Project Manager to join a high-profile project in the SW Florida region. This individual will serve as the on-site day-to-day management lead, working directly under a seasoned Project Executive and alongside senior project management staff.

What you'll be doing

  • Serve as the primary on-site management resource for a complex, multi-scope project
  • Manage concurrent scopes of work (e.g., structural, MEP, electrical) with strong organizational and financial oversight
  • Maintain high-level client and stakeholder relationships while managing day-to-day execution
  • Develop and implement project controls, procedures, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Monitor and manage the change order process to ensure accurate financial forecasting
  • Leverage technology tools — scheduling software, iPad, and digital platforms — to drive project performance

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • 3+ years of recent, continuous experience managing industrial or commercial projects for a General Contractor
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project controls, financial forecasting, and contract compliance
  • Comfortable managing multiple scopes of work simultaneously across a project
  • Tech-savvy — proficient with scheduling software and field technology tools

Preferred qualifications

  • 5+ years of PM experience with a background in healthcare construction (hospitals, surgical centers, standalone ER/urgent care) or FDA-regulated/biotech/pharma manufacturing facilities
  • Experience with clean room or sterile environment construction
  • Track record managing $20M+ in project value, either on a single project or across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Prior experience writing subcontractor scopes, managing deliverables, and influencing bid strategy
  • Background as a Project Engineer on ground-up construction projects
