Product Marketing Manager

Bring Our Products to Life for the Scientists Who Need Them

Why This Role Matters
Scientists can't buy what they don't understand. At Filtrous, our product catalog spans thousands of
lab supplies, but without clear descriptions, compelling content, and a well-curated website, even
the best products sit unnoticed. As our Product Marketing Manager, you'll be the bridge between our
products and the researchers who need them. You'll produce the blog content, application notes,
and product pages that drive organic traffic and purchasing decisions. Your work will directly impact
how scientists discover, evaluate, and choose Filtrous.

What You'll Do
Create Technical Content that Drives Traffic: Produce and publish blog content and application
notes that educate scientists, improve SEO, and position Filtrous as a thought leader in the lab
supplies space.
Own the Product Catalog Online: Work closely with virtual assistants to resolve 100% of website
product descriptions, specifications, and pricing issues. Ensure every product page is accurate,
complete, and optimized for conversion.
Keep the Website Fresh: Regularly update product photography, descriptions, specifications,
and pricing. Update the home page and landing pages to highlight key products, blog posts,
application notes, career opportunities, and company culture.
Build the Brand Beyond the Lab: Create and produce regular merch drops that grow company
brand awareness and build team culture, creating touchpoints that keep Filtrous top of mind.

How Success is Measured
Consistent blog and application note publishing cadence that drives organic traffic growth
100% of product descriptions, specs, and pricing issues resolved on the website
Product photography and catalog content updated and maintained on a regular schedule
Home page and landing pages refreshed to highlight current priorities and campaigns
Brand merchandise program launched with regular drops

Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology)
or related field
Proven experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a research or industrial environment
Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, supplies, and scientific methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and
content management systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to analyze data and draw actionable insights
Creative thinker with a customer-centric mindset

Bonus points if you have:
Strong project management skills, including experience with project management software
