Job Responsibilities:

  •  Lead the preparation and execution of content creation for meetings with healthcare & life sciences VCs and portfolio companies, internal briefings, and high-profile events.
  •  Serve as a central point across different lines of business, including inbound requests from internal partners, including business management, commercial banking, investment banking and fund banking teams.
  •  Build and maintain relationships with junior investors, founders, and ecosystem partners, representing the team at internal and external events and expanding your professional network.
  • Oversee and optimize team operations, including calendar management, metrics tracking, budget planning, and process improvement to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop an understanding of the full breadth of J.P. Morgan products and service offerings, including but not limited to credit, venture debt, private banking, fund banking, and investment banking.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • 3+ years of strong performance in a similar banking role, credit/lending, or venture capital/private equity-related experience.
  • Outstanding professional reputation and integrity.
  • Excellent problem-solving, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Broad knowledge of products and services.
  • Requirement to complete FINRA Licensing exams (SIE, Series 63 and Series 79).

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree and formal credit or investment banking training preferred.
  • Knowledge and existing networks in the local innovation economy and venture capital sectors preferred.
  • Previous work experience and/or interest for healthcare, biotechnology and scientific innovation.
