We are seeking an experienced Utilities Manager. Our ideal candidate is a versatile engineering professional, with superior skills and experience in the optimization of procedure improvement and a willingness to work in a dynamic, on-site pharmaceutical project environment. As a process engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents. Ultimately, your job is to maintain the efficiency of production to reduce costs. To ensure success as a process engineer you should have extensive experience in process design, excellent technical skills, and high-level analytical skills. A top-class process engineer can analyze a process system and implement simple yet effective changes to boost production.

Responsibilities

  • 5 years of experience working on Manufacturing Projects PFD and P&ID Development
  • Preparing and evaluating bid and purchase specifications for process and clean utility equipment.
  • Calculating loads for clean utilities, line sizing, and distribution design (e.g. water for injection, clean steam, process gases).
  • Experience working within the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical or Fill Finish Projects/Sectors.
  • Strong client facing and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Performing risk assessments.
  • Designing and testing process upgrades and new process systems.
  • Ensuring processes comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues.
  • Performing optimization tests.
  • Developing routines and best practices to ensure product quality.
  • Developing standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process.
  • Providing the Product Manager with processing documents and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitoring upgrades systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering or related science field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automation or process control
  • Experience with Emerson DeltaV Systems, Rockwell Automation, OSI/PI Historian, or related automation and control platform.
  • Advanced technical skills.
