Production Associate Team Member
EFP, LLC / La Vergne, TN
1st Shift: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm - Starting at $19 / hour
2nd Shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm - Starting at $20 / hour
POSITION SUMMARY
Production experience is not required! Come join our growing team in a clean and safe working environment where we promote from within. This position is responsible for assembling and packing customer products to specifications in a manufacturing environment to optimize uptime and efficiency.
In a general production position with EFP, you will perform assembly and packing job functions, while inspecting quality with established work instructions.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Assemble and pack all products according to the customer's specifications
  • Stage assembled product in a neat, orderly fashion, stacking on pallets
  • Perform quality checks as specified
  • Maintain and improve 5S activities
  • Communicate with leadership at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Work in a safe manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and oral

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Occasional squatting, kneeling, bending and stooping
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble and pack products
  • Lifting, carrying, pulling and pushing up to 40 lbs.
