Summary

The Associate Manufacturing Technician role focuses on supporting light manufacturing and distribution operations for chromatography consumables such as vials and caps. The work environment is clean, safe, and not machinery-heavy, with no exposure to hazardous materials. The role involves processing bulk products through basic equipment for weighing, counting, bagging, labeling, and assembling custom kits based on customer requirements. It is well-suited for entry-level candidates looking to gain experience in a structured production setting.

Responsibilities

  • Process bulk products using basic equipment for weighing, counting, bagging, and labeling
  • Wash vials and operate ovens to dry them
  • Assemble chromatography consumables (vials, caps, septa) into kits as per customer specifications
  • Support distribution-focused tasks including packaging and preparing products for shipment
  • Inspect products during production to ensure quality standards
  • Maintain and use RF scanning equipment as needed
  • Record production data accurately
  • Report any equipment or process issues to supervisors
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Assist with problem-solving in production when needed

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • No prior experience required
  • Attention to detail (important for counting, labeling, and kit assembly)
  • Ability to follow step-by-step instructions and work orders
