Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for an โ€œInfrastructure Engineerโ€.

Location: Hillsboro, OR (Onsite)

Job Duration: Long-Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension & FT Conversion)

Rate: $50/hr on W2

Company Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Sick Leave, 401 (k)

About the Role

In this role, you will be supporting and maintaining enterprise infrastructure across manufacturing facilities. This is a hands-on, onsite role responsible for Windows server administration, VMware virtualization, networking, SQL databases, backup and disaster recovery, and day-to-day infrastructure operations.Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing is highly preferred.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Strong experience with Windows Server administration.
  • Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies (or equivalent virtualization platforms).
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server or another relational database platform.
  • Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar IT ticketing systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix server administration.
  • Knowledge of GMP, change management, and regulated IT environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure across multiple sites.
