About the Role:


As a Director of Investor Relations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing BioNTech's communication strategy for the investment community. Your contributions will directly elevate investor engagement and optimize company valuation, ensuring alignment with BioNTech's mission to improve global health through oncology innovation. You will be part of a high-performing team, interfacing directly with senior leaders across the organization to shape and articulate BioNTech's highly scientific equity narrative.

Your engagements will help build trust and credibility internally and within the investment community, while showcasing our strategic vision, oncology pipeline, and long-term growth 
potential.


Your Contribution:


Design and lead strategic initiatives and projects to enhance communication and 
  engagement with analysts and investors
Shape and optimize BioNTech's equity narrative to articulate the value of technology 
  platforms, pipeline assets, clinical development strategy and long-term growth potential 
Interface directly with a broad range of investors, sellside equity analysts to articulate 
  the BioNTech narrative, fostering trust with the investment community
  Internal
Utilize insights from market activity, policy updates, financial trends, competitor 
  landscape, and shareholder concerns to fine tune investor engagement and 
  communication 
Shape and oversee a high-impact IR event calendar, including roadshows, investor and 
  medical conferences, IR company events such as R&D Days, and quarterly updates
Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders across all functions, including R&D, medical, 
  finance, corporate communications, legal, policy and commercial to empower IR communications
Interface directly with management board members and help to enhance IR's internal 
  strategic value through high-quality interactions
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and industry standards in all communications
  and internal and external engagements


A Good Match:


Bachelor's degree required; with 8 plus years of relevant professional experience required; could include investor relations, corporate communications, corporate development, competitive intelligence, 
   medical/R&D, equity research or similar roles within biopharmaceutical space.
Scientific or medical background desirable; ideally with oncology expertise and experience
Proven ability to lead, build relationships and influence across functions and levels of leadership
Strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced working environments with ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, with a dynamic approach to ensure delivery of high quality outputs to deadlines 
Understanding of financial reporting and valuation techniques used by investment professionals
Strong attention to detail, and ability to review and deliver high-quality, accurate content and documents directly to investors and executives 
Exceptional written/verbal communication skills for presenting complex topics clearly and concisely in various setting

Preferred qualifications: Advanced academic credentials (Ph.D, MBA or Masters Degree)

US based candidates expected Pay Range: $168,100 - $268,700/year + benefits, annual bonus & equity (bonus and equity is variable and dependent on company and individual performance). *Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
