GENERAL OVERVIEW:

The job will support the Enterprise Equitable Health Institute with a community center approach to providing care. Empower our communities by providing biometric screenings, health awareness, and education.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer Biometric Screening and vaccinations (blood pressure, glucose and lipid testing. (40%)

  • Provide health awareness and education via community outreach programs. (10%)

  • Support AHN Cardiovascular Study - will liaison patients to the appropriate Cardiovascular staff, assist with registration, taking vitals, and preparing room/space for the AHN Cardiologist.(10%)

  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures including using the proper protective equipment. (10%)

  • Understand and comply with applicable federal, state and local laws and company policies.(10%)

  • Check-in patients and adhere to appropriate registration policies and procedures. (10%)

  • Adhere to quality assurance procedures and maintain all HIPAA standards.(10%)

  • Other duties as assigned or requested.

EXPERIENCE

Required

  • BSN or Assoc degree or 2 years of experience in lieu of BSN.

  • Nursing experience

  • Administering vaccines and immunizations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

  • CPR - American Heart Association

  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate

  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS

Required

  • Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
