Biomedical Science Undergraduates typically focus on coursework and research during their studies, preparing for roles in research or further education. Biomedical Laboratory Technicians, on the other hand, are trained to perform laboratory tests and procedures in clinical settings. While both roles work in laboratory environments, the undergraduate is often a student or recent graduate, whereas the technician is a trained professional with specific certifications.
