Job Summary:

The Summer Marketing Events Intern will support the planning, coordination, and execution of both internal and external events at Nova Biomedical. This role offers hands-on experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and corporate communications teams to help deliver high-quality events and campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to gain experience in event marketing within a fast-paced, global organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Event Support & Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of events including conferences, trade shows, webinars, internal meetings, and team events. Support logistics such as materials preparation, vendor coordination, and on-site or virtual event execution.
  • Event Promotion & Communications: Support the development and distribution of event-related communications, including email campaigns, social media posts, and internal announcements to drive awareness and attendance.
  • Project Coordination: Help track timelines, maintain project plans, and assist with organizing event-related documentation, including schedules, run-of-show documents, and checklists.
  • Marketing & Content Support: Assist with the creation and organization of marketing collateral, presentations, and digital assets used for events and campaigns.
  • Data Tracking & Reporting: Support tracking event participation, engagement metrics, and post-event feedback. Assist with compiling reports and summaries to evaluate effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and other internal teams to support event execution and ensure alignment across activities.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support related to event planning, including scheduling, organizing materials, and maintaining records.

Experience Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of marketing, communications, or event planning is a plus
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with social media platforms is a plus
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Typical office environment (Hybrid role)
  • Must be able to use basic office equipment: computer, printer, copier, telephone, etc.
  • Must be able to remain stationary for long periods of time
  • Must be able to assess aesthetics of printed materials
  • Must be capable of communicating with stakeholders

Work Location: Hybrid work schedule, at our Waltham or Norwood, MA locations.

Targeted Salary Range: $22-$23/hr
