Job description

A leading biomanufacturing facility in Madison, WI is seeking entry level Biomanufacturing Technicians to join the Central Services team. This site features advanced cell line engineering and scalable production within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment.

Position Summary:
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in biomanufacturing. Technicians are responsible for the manufacture of biopharmaceutical products in a clean room setting, following established procedures under frequent supervision.
Biomanufacturing Technician, Central Services – 3rd Shift
Location: Madison, WI (100% On-site)
Compensation: $22 per hour
Shift Differential: 15% for 3rd shift, 20% on weekends
Sign-on Bonus: $5,000 for all 3rd shift new hires
Work Schedule: 10pm–8am (Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare buffers and weigh raw materials for production
  • Follow Batch Production Records (BPRs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) according to cGMP guidelines
  • Document activities in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDPs)
  • Identify and report deviations through the Rapid Response process
  • Actively participate in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support and mentor newer team members as needed
  • Maintain cleanroom housekeeping and 5S standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) manufacturing experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with TrackWise, ComplianceWire, JD Edwards, DeltaV, or Chromatography software is a plus
  • Able to meet physical requirements: frequent lifting/moving up to 10 lbs, occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs, and work within a clean room environment
