POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE in Bioelectronics
New York University Tandon School of Engineering
The NYU Tandon School of Engineering Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering is seeking to hire a Post Doctoral Associate to work on the development of innovative bioelectronic devices for wearable applications. The successful candidate will primarily work on design, fabrication, and characterization of electronic chips for sensing application, including brain interfaces. The successful candidate will work closely with Prof. Davood Shahrjerdi in accomplishing this goal.

Expectations: The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with CMOS (complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) chips design, fabrication of electronic devices, and their electrical characterization.
This position is located at Tandon School of Engineering at New York University.
Salary:
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $67,500, depending on the candidate's experience and qualification.
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field
  • Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
    • CMOS analog/mixed-signal circuit design
    • Semiconductor device fabrication and cleanroom processing
    • Electrical/optical characterization of electronic or bioelectronic devices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
