Job description

Bindery Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Bindery Operator for a company based in Duncan, SC.. In this role, you will have the opportunity to operate and maintain bindery machinery, ensuring high-quality production and efficient workflow in a printing environment. 

Pay Rate 
$18.89-$21.39 per hour

Schedule and Hours 
Three 12-hour shifts per week 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Bindery Operator Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate bindery machines, including cutters, folders, collators and binders
  • Perform sewing and stitching on printed materials or products as required
  • Inspect products throughout the process to maintain quality standards and detect defects.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on machines as needed. 
Bindery Operator Qualifications and Requirements
  • Previous work as a press operator, laminator, and sewing operator in a printing or manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of large format printing equipment and finishing processes. 
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks. 
  • Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
