Job description

Bindery is for a printing company working with paper learning how to finish the job once it is printed.

Pay based on level of skills and learning. Applicant to be able to catch on quickly and be sufficient in work ethic.

Applicant MUST be familiar with printing machines.

Pay for no experience $15

Pay for beginner experience $17

Pay for experienced $22

Pay for self starting and leader with bindery knowledge $25-28

LABOR POSITION, WORKING WITH MULTIPLE INDUSTRIAL MACHINES.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate all bindery equipment to include: folders, cutter/slitters, collators, stitchers, drills and paddings.
  • Review assigned jobs to ensure compliance with client order forms and report discrepancies to order processing or assigned manager.
  • Complete packaging to include proper boxing and preparing of materials for delivery, completing appropriate paperwork and organizing artwork and paperwork.
  • Ensure materials are delivered to proper departments for shipment to include lifting and carrying.
  • Contact outside service via phone regarding die cutting and numbering of orders.
  • Receive and verify stock against shipper paperwork, apply appropriate labels and stock in designated areas on a daily basis.
  • Unload delivery vehicles, and stock in appropriate areas.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
