Summary of Position Requirements:

The BIM Manager will lead the development of projects using various technology platforms and applications and will be responsible for ensuring project deliverables are consistently met throughout the life of the project(s). This position will work closely with project team(s) during the design and construction and will perform clash detection and clash resolution, building mechanical systems modeling, coordination, scheduling, and logistic reviews. This position will implement procedures in BIM Execution Plans, develop strategies, and provide integrated solutions. Must be customer-focused, capable of effective collaboration, communication, and must manage deadlines by prioritizing assignments. This position is open to Phoenix, AZ USA residents ONLY.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

A BIM Manager must be a Team Player and self-starter with excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills. The primary roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the BIM coordination process from start to finish
  • Lead a BIM team/group members
  • Coordinate with project managers and customers
  • Promote a collaborative working environment
  • Train and lead others in BIM software and technologies
  • Schedule and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
  • Develop BIM Execution Plans

Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirement:

Bachelors degree in an accredited industry-related curriculum (CAD/Revit courses, engineering, construction, etc) plus a minimum of 3 years hands-on experience.

  • Expert-level competency with Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and Autocad
  • Experience generating coordinated drawings
  • Experience generating spool drawings for fabrication
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership and urgency
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proven supervisory and leadership experience

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to read large quantities of information. Must maintain a professional appearance. Finger dexterity in operating a computer keyboard and calculator. Office work requires sitting at a computer monitor for extended periods of time, completing paperwork, and receiving/return phone messages. Standing is required for filing, scanning, and copying. This is a position also requires walking, standing, and climbing stairs in/around construction sites.
