Structural Digital Designer 
Location: Phoenix, AZ or Tucson, AZ
Schedule: Full-Time

Overview
We are partnering with a leading engineering organization seeking a Structural Digital Design  to support multidisciplinary building and infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for leading discipline-specific digital modeling efforts, ensuring high-quality BIM execution, and delivering accurate structural design documentation in alignment with project scope and digital delivery standards.
 
Key Responsibilities
  Lead structural discipline modeling efforts with minimal direction from engineers or architects
 
Develop and maintain BIM models based on Level of Development (LOD) and Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) requirements
  Generate and manage discipline-specific content, systems, and digital outputs
 
Create detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams using current 3D modeling software
  Ensure model accuracy including coordinates, scales, orientations, match-lines, and scope boundaries
 
Maintain all project model data including views, sheets, and annotations
  Produce fully annotated, discipline-specific documentation
 
Coordinate with other disciplines through design reviews and 3D coordination workflows
  Monitor and maintain model health, ensuring adherence to company and industry standards
 
Execute all digital delivery requirements tied to project scope, schedule, and budget

Required Qualifications
  Technical degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience
 
Minimum 5 years of experience in structural digital design, BIM modeling, or related field
  Advanced proficiency in 3D design software used for structural modeling
 
Advanced proficiency with 3D coordination tools
  Strong understanding of engineering and architectural design concepts
 
Working knowledge of industry standards, discipline codes, and specifications
  Experience with digital delivery plans, BIM execution, and model-based workflows
 
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard communication tools
  Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation accuracy
 
Excellent communication skills with ability to coordinate across teams

Preferred Qualifications
  Experience preparing structural drawings and construction documents
 
Proficiency with Revit
  Experience supporting industrial or high-tech facility projects
 
Experience working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment
