Guest Services 3rd Shift Supervisor
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Guest Services 3rd Shift Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Front Office Management Team while providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, prior to arrival and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll lead the overnight Guest Services team to ensure a safe, seamless, and welcoming experience for guests at every hour. By supporting associates, resolving guest concerns, and maintaining smooth overnight operations, you'll help deliver exceptional hospitality while setting the team up for success each new day.
*** Position starting as early as September. ***
Pay Rate - $18 - $20/Hr.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise overnight Guest Services operations, ensuring exceptional guest service and efficient front desk performance throughout the shift.
  • Lead, coach, and support overnight associates while fostering a positive, guest-focused team environment.
  • Assist guests with check-in, check-out, room assignments, billing inquiries, and special requests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Resolve guest concerns and service recovery opportunities promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Support nightly operational procedures, including balancing transactions, preparing reports, and assisting with night audit processes as needed.
  • Monitor room inventory, occupancy, and rate availability while maximizing room revenue and guest accommodations.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping, Security, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless overnight operations.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations, guest incidents, and operational challenges while following resort policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with cash handling, billing, security, and front office standards while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Assist the Front Office Management Team with daily operations, associate development, and communication to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.

What We're Looking For
  • We do require that you have a background, consisting of 2-3 years of progressive experience in a hotel, resort, or related field.
  • Positive attitude willing to step in and help guests and associates.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • College course in hotel/motel management is helpful.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful but not required.
