Job Title: Front Desk Receptionist – Onsite Job

Location: AVE MUNOZ RIVERA #425 ESQUINA PONCE DE LEON San Juan PR 00918

Duration: Contract - 12 months

Pay Range: $11/hr to $12/hr (W2)

Shift: 4 or 5 days per week - Monday to Friday from 7:30am or 8:00am to 3:30pm or 4:30pm

Job Description

 

Education & Experience:

 

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred

Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare or customer service setting

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and scheduling systems preferred

 

Skills & Competencies:

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Effective communication skills (verbal and written), bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Ability to manage high patient volume and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation

Problem-solving skills and ability to handle patient concerns professionally

Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and register patients, ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information

Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments

Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations

Collect co-pays and process basic billing transactions

Answer and route incoming calls, providing information and assistance as needed

Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with clinical staff

Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational policies
