About the Role:

We are seeking insurance professionals with 5 to 10+ years of commercial insurance experience and an active P&C license, for current and future opportunities within our Account Management career path based on experience and licensing. Multiple experience levels considered, including Account Manager, Senior Account Manager and Senior Account Executive opportunities.

The Commercial Lines Account Management team is responsible for managing and retaining client relationships, supporting new business opportunities, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring operational excellence across an assigned book of business. As team members advance through the career framework, responsibilities expand from account servicing and renewal management to technical leadership, strategic client consulting, business development, and team oversight.

Book Focus: Construction, Contractors

Account ManagerPrimary Purpose

Manage an assigned book of business by providing day-to-day client service, supporting account retention efforts, coordinating policy administration activities, and ensuring accurate and timely execution of service deliverables.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Service & Account Administration
  • Respond to client service requests and inquiries.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, billing requests, and claims support.

Advanced Technical & Account Management
  • Lead complex renewal and marketing processes.
  • Conduct loss run analysis and evaluate underwriting information.
  • Negotiate coverage terms, conditions, and pricing.
  • Oversee binding, issuance, billing, delivery, and servicing activities.
  • Manage complex policy forms, endorsements, contracts, audits, certificates, evidences, and cancellations.
Team Leadership & Decision Making
  • Exercise independent judgment and discretion in client and business decisions.
  • Direct account team activities to ensure service standards and deadlines are achieved.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts for highly complex client situations.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of insurance industry experience or 10+ years of client relationship, sales, or marketing experience.
  • Active insurance license.
  • CIC or equivalent professional designation required.
  • Strong strategic consulting, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex client portfolios.
  • Excellent communication, delegation, leadership, and customer advocacy skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
