Job description

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team at Huntington Billboards!


Huntington Billboard Co. is the fastest growing media company in the U.S. with billboard assets across 18 states. As an independently owned company, we build over 1,500 new billboard faces each year. This rapid expansion drives our need for exceptional talent to join our dynamic team. 


As a Marketing Manager for Huntington Billboards, you’ll serve as a revenue generating partner to the sales organization while elevating the Huntington brand across all markets. A Marketing Manager at Huntington Billboards should be tech-savvy and have strong social media experience. Candidates must reside in the Dayton, Cincinnati, or Columbus area and have the ability to travel to Huntington Billboards Corporate office in Gordon, OH once per month or as needed.  


Key Responsibilities: 

1. Lead Generation & Prospect Development

  • Develop and execute lead generation campaigns that produce qualified opportunities for Territory Managers.
  • Utilize tools such as Winmo, industry databases, digital campaigns, and targeted outreach lists.
  • Build vertical-specific prospecting programs (healthcare, legal, roofing, automotive, banking, tourism, etc.).
  • Track lead volume, conversion rates, and revenue generated from marketing-sourced opportunities.
  • Success Metric: Qualified leads delivered per month and revenue attributed to marketing efforts.

2. Social Media Growth & Brand Awareness

  • Elevate Huntington's presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and emerging platforms.
  • Showcase client success stories, new billboard installations, digital capabilities, and company growth.
  • Create consistent content calendars and engagement strategies.
  • Position Huntington as an industry leader in Out-of-Home advertising.
  • Success Metric: Growth in followers, engagement rates, impressions, and inbound inquiries.

3. Sales Enablement & Territory Manager Support

  • Act as a proactive extension of the sales team.
  • Create customized sales materials, presentations, one-sheets, market reports, and proposal templates.
  • Support Territory Managers with prospect research and local market intelligence.
  • Assist in developing strategic account plans.
  • Success Metric: Territory Manager utilization and impact on proposal-to-close ratios. 

4. Trade Show, Convention & Event Strategy

  • Identify and prioritize high-value industry trade shows and conventions.
  • Coordinate booth design, collateral, lead capture processes, and post-event follow-up.
  • Ensure measurable ROI from every event investment.
  • Success Metric: Leads generated, meetings scheduled, and revenue influenced by events.

5. Chamber of Commerce & Community Engagement

  • Develop relationships with local Chambers of Commerce and business organizations across Huntington markets.
  • Create sponsorship and networking opportunities.
  • Increase Huntington's visibility within local business communities.
  • Success Metric: New business relationships and qualified opportunities generated.

 6. Brand Development & Consistency

  • Strengthen and standardize the Huntington brand across all 27 states.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, presentations, website content, social media, and sales materials.
  • Continue advancing Huntington as a growing national billboard company with local expertise.
  • Success Metric: Brand recognition, consistency, and customer perception.

7. Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, digital deployments, and market developments.
  • Provide quarterly competitive reports to sales leadership and Territory Managers.
  • Identify emerging industries and advertising opportunities.
  • Success Metric: Actionable intelligence delivered to the sales organization.

 8. Digital Marketing & Inbound Lead Programs

  • Optimize website content and search visibility.
  • Develop targeted email campaigns, digital advertising, and remarketing efforts.
  • Create landing pages designed to generate advertiser inquiries.
  • Success Metric: Website traffic, form submissions, and inbound lead generation.

9. New Inventory & Market Launch Support

  • Develop marketing plans for new billboard construction and acquired inventory.
  • Create pre-sale campaigns to accelerate occupancy on new structures.
  • Support Territory Managers with launch materials and promotional efforts.
  • Success Metric: Occupancy and revenue generated from new inventory.

10. Marketing Analytics & Revenue Accountability

  • Establish clear reporting connecting marketing activity to revenue outcomes.
  • Track lead generation, campaign performance, social engagement, event ROI, and sales support metrics.
  • Present monthly marketing performance reports to leadership.
  • Success Metric: Demonstrated contribution to revenue growth, occupancy growth, and pipeline development.

What We Need From You: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably in B2B, media, advertising, or another growth-focused industry.
  • Demonstrated success developing lead generation campaigns that produce measurable business results.
  • Strong experience managing social media platforms with a focus on engagement and brand growth.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and leverage new marketing technologies. Experience using AI-powered tools to improve marketing efficiency, content creation, campaign execution, prospect research, and analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, digital advertising, website content management, and marketing analytics.
  • Highly organized with strong writing, communication, and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and comfortable working independently while partnering closely with sales and leadership teams.
  • Willingness to travel to Huntington's headquarters in Gordon, Ohio, approximately once per month and as business needs required.
