Warehouse Lead

Location: Miami, FL

Pay Rate: $20.00 โ€“ $23.00 per hour

Full-Time | Overtime Eligible | Flexible Schedule Required

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Logistics Supervisor to lead daily warehouse and logistics operations in a cold storage environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing product receiving, organization, inventory flow, and distribution while ensuring safety, accuracy, efficiency, and team productivity.

This position requires a strong leader who can manage employees, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, monitor performance metrics, and maintain smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team to meet productivity and operational goals.
  • Oversee receiving, sorting, staging, and proper handling of incoming products.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors and partners to ensure efficient product flow.
  • Track operational performance through KPIs and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and company standards.
  • Maintain organized work areas, including preparation areas and cold storage environments.
  • Assist with loading, receiving, and other warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, cold storage, or related operations.
  • Proven experience managing employees and maintaining accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email communication, and reporting tools.
  • Forklift and electric pallet jack certification required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Must be comfortable working in a refrigerated warehouse environment with temperatures as low as 34ยฐF.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed.
Schedule & Availability

This is a full-time, non-exempt position in a 24/7 operation. Candidates must have flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended hours based on operational needs.
