Bilingual Credit Analyst, Japanese Corporate Finance Department  <\/span><\/span><\/b>

 International Bank seeks Bilingual Japanese Credit Analyst.  The position requires oral and written business Japanese.<\/span><\/span>

Summary:<\/b>
Responsible for originating, structuring, and advising on complex financing transactions. May be
responsible for multiple product specializations, including structured finance, project finance,
export\/trade finance, and loans.<\/span><\/span><\/p>


Duties and Responsibilities:<\/b>
Credit Analyst<\/u>
1. Reviews potential assets in assigned industries and prepares credit applications and makes
investment recommendations.
2. Ensures compliance with applicable investment guidelines and directives from Head Office and Branch
Management.
3. Monitors assigned assets and industries to maintain credit quality and proposes and updates
"buy\/hold\/sell" recommendations through asset\/industry appropriate measures, i.e., financial analysis
and trends, cross\-sectional analysis, market value\/liquidity and expected default frequency.
4. Reviews or prepares all applications and reports and makes recommendations on all amendments,
refinancings and other ongoing activities.
5. Performs all Head Office and Branch monitoring and reporting requirements, including rating review,
documentation review, regulatory review and financial and portfolio review requirements.
6. May supervise Credit Analysts or other staff.
7. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Closing Officer<\/u>
1. Coordinates and works closely with Analysts for regulatory review and closings for customers.
2. Performs regulatory review of new and existing customers as assigned, including the checking for
compliance with all regulatory requirements.
3. Performs closings for new and existing customers as assigned, including legal documentation review,
preparation of operational documentation for booking and preparation of Closing Checklist packages.
4. Coordinates with the Legal Department for review of legal documentation, with Loan Operations
Department for booking and with third parties (agent banks, counter\-parties, attorneys, etc) for closings.
5. Processes operational and administrative documents as needed.
6. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements<\/h3>

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:<\/b>
1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or economics.
2. Experience in Japanese corporate or financial institutions preferred.
3. PC skills in MS spreadsheet, database and word\-processing (Japanese and English.)
4. Good financial\/credit analysis skills.
5. Excellent written and verbal business communication skills in Japanese and English.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
