A+ Staffing is recruiting experienced Deputy Managers to support transportation and mobility operations for the FIFA World Cup 2026TM in Kansas City. This leadership role will oversee live event operations across transportation hubs, venue access points, parking areas, bus operations, and pedestrian movement zones, ensuring safe, efficient, and seamless operations throughout tournament activities in a fast-paced, high-dynamic event environment. This is a seven-week position that requires a flexible schedule with extended hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, match days, and tournament operational periods based on the FIFA event schedule. Candidates must have open availability starting May 26 – July 13. Compensation is $1,425 per week, paid weekly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Leadership

• Support and oversee day-to-day transportation and mobility operations across venues, depots, parking areas, bus malls, and Last Mile zones.
• Act as an operational lead during assigned shifts and support real-time decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Coordinate with venue teams, transportation partners, public agencies, security, and operational stakeholders to ensure smooth event execution.

Transportation & Traffic Operations

• Assist with vehicle staging, dispatch, shuttle coordination, parking operations, traffic flow, and pedestrian movement.
• Monitor live operations and respond to delays, congestion, service disruptions, or safety concerns.
• Support implementation of traffic management plans, access control procedures, and operational contingency plans.

Team Supervision & Workforce Coordination

• Supervise operational staff including marshals, dispatchers, parking attendants, and field teams.
• Support staff scheduling, deployment, briefings, and shift handovers while promoting professionalism and operational excellence.

Safety, Accessibility & Guest Experience

• Help maintain safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations for spectators, staff, and FIFA client groups.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, ADA accessibility standards, and operational protocols.

Reporting & Communication

• Maintain operational logs, incident reports, and daily updates.
• Communicate effectively with leadership teams and operational partners to support continuous operational awareness.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5+ years of experience in transportation operations, event operations, logistics, traffic management, venue operations, or related operational leadership roles.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to make quick operational decisions under pressure.
• Strong understanding of crowd movement, traffic flow, transportation logistics, and operational coordination.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of ADA accessibility standards and inclusive service practices preferred.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
