Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative - Bicycle, Outdoor and Marine to develop and manage key client relationships while driving business growth. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.

The ideal candidate has experience in the Bicycle, Outdoor, or Marine industry, with strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. This position requires the ability to manage multiple accounts, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver client-focused solutions in a fast-paced environment. This role involves frequent travel (approximately 50–70%) and requires a proactive, strategic approach to account development and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

● Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts

● Develop new major accounts, and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

● Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits

● Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

● Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

● Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

● Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas

● Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

● Prepare reports on account status

● Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory

● Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

● Requires travel of approximately 50–70%

● Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

● Proven Bicycle, Outdoor and or Marine Industry work experience as an Account representative, Key Account representative, Sales Account representative, or relevant role within the industry.

● Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level

● Ability to make data-driven decisions, and provide reporting and projections based on KPIs

● Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, NetSuite, Zoho CRM, or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)

● Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs

● Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-focused environment with rapidly changing priorities

● Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with a collaborative attitude

● Ability to work independently and demonstrate commitment to both quality and tight deadlines

● Exceptional time management and organizational skills required

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with sales in the cycling industry to franchise retailers

● BA/BS degree in Business Administration preferred
