About the Role:
Passion Masonry LLC is looking for a skilled Masonry & Concrete Estimator to join our growing team in North Charleston, SC! In this role, you'll play a critical part in driving project success by delivering accurate, competitive bids that keep our crews busy and our clients happy. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for the craft, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for masonry and concrete projects including materials, labor, and equipment
  • Review blueprints, specifications, and project scopes to develop accurate takeoffs
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive pricing
  • Collaborate with project managers and field crews to align estimates with real-world conditions
  • Track and analyze bid results to continuously improve estimating accuracy
  • Maintain organized records of bids, proposals, and project documentation
  • Identify potential project risks and incorporate appropriate contingencies into estimates
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in masonry, concrete, or construction estimating
  • Strong knowledge of masonry and concrete materials, methods, and installation techniques
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and specifications
  • Experience with estimating software (PlanSwift) and/or Microsoft Office Suite
  • QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids simultaneously
