Job description

Job Title: Regional Bid Manager - Industrial Projects

Job Location: Houston, TX

The Regional Bid Manager Industrial Projects will drive bid strategy, lead execution, manage regional bid resources, and ensure disciplined governance, strong customer engagement, and high-quality proposals that maximize win probability in complex Project Logistics environments.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Own and lead all qualifying Project Logistics bids (2M+ lifetime revenue) within the region from opportunity qualification through contract award.
  • Maintain early visibility of opportunities through CRM and close engagement with opportunity owners and commercial leads.
  • Define bid strategy, win themes, positioning, and bid approach in alignment with customer needs and regional commercial objectives.
  • Ensure bid strategies are clearly translated into compelling, compliant, and differentiated proposals.
  • Lead endtoend bid execution, including bid planning, timelines, internal reviews, and final submissions.
  • Ensure full compliance with global and regional bid governance frameworks, standards, and stagegate requirements.
  • Prepare bid/nobid recommendations and governance documentation for regional approvals.
  • Actively challenge bids where feasibility, risk, or governance concerns exist and stop or pause bids when required.
  • Lead bids in complex Project Logistics environments, including: Heavy lift and outofgauge (OOG) cargo
  • Industrial, energy, and infrastructure projects; EPCled tenders
  • Orchestrate technical and commercial specialists while progressively developing the ability to challenge execution concepts and delivery strategies.
  • Balance commercial ambition with operational feasibility, execution risk, and delivery credibility.
  • Set clear priorities and resolve conflicts between commercial and technical considerations.
  • Allocate and manage regional bid resources across multiple concurrent opportunities.
  • Drive pace, accountability, and high performance across the regional bid team.
  • Act as a key customerfacing role during the bid phase, alongside account managers and opportunity owners.
  • Participate in selected customer engagements, including early opportunity discussions, bid meetings, clarifications, and negotiations, particularly for strategic bids.
  • Ensure customer strategy, priorities, and decision drivers are fully reflected in the bid approach and submission.
  • Represent bids at regional executive and leadership forums.
  • Engage with the Global Strategic Bid Manager and global bid functions in line with defined engagement criteria.
  • Retain regional ownership of bids unless explicitly agreed otherwise, remaining actively involved even when global support is engaged.
  • Act as the primary regional point of contact for global guidance, escalation, and support.
  • Lead formal bid handovers to implementation teams and support early mobilization as required.
  • Drive structured postbid followup to maintain customer engagement.


Push for lessons learned in collaboration with sector heads and ensure insights are shared within the region and fed back into governance frameworks.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/qualifications required
  • Proficiency, business English language skills

Pay Range: $105,682.50 - $140,910.00+ (Based on Experience)
